Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will run from November 27th through December 30th, 2020

While we know there are certainly things we will miss this Christmas season around Walt Disney World, there is still plenty to look forward to and we can’t to experience the re-imagined magic on our trip over Thanksgiving. We will get to attend the Festival of the Holidays this trip and we will be bringing lots of information to you through blogs and video. We can’t wait!

This magical event will feature delicious food, fun activities for everyone in the family and Disney characters decked out in their holiday best. Holiday Kitchens will return this year and will be located throughout the World Showcase.

As guests sip, savor and sample their way through the kitchens, they can keep an eye out for some favorite characters traveling through the World Showcase spreading some holiday cheer. You can see Queen Anna and Elsa in the “Frozen Holiday Promenade,” and Mickey Mouse and his pals making merry on the “Mickey and Friends Holiday World Tour.” And we can’t forget about Santa Claus! Santa will be visiting EPCOT on a grand horse-drawn carriage tour around World Showcase!

In the America Gardens Theatre you can enjoy the sounds of the season from Voices of Liberty, with favorite carols. Mariachi Cobre will bring to life Las Posadas, a celebration of Mexican holiday customs through music and dance. In the Canada Pavilion, JAMMitors will grace the Mill Stage with their playful percussion. Inside World Showplace you can enjoy shopping, sights and sounds featuring JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season will bring you on an uplifting journey through R&B, gospel, contemporary and traditional Christmas holiday music.

The Holiday Cookie Stroll will return with a complimentary cookie as a reward for completing the confectionary collection. With a delicious selection of treats to choose from and will include cookies from five different locations throughout the park. There is also an adorable cookie jar to collect all of your cookies that you can purchase throughout the World Showcase.

To share holiday traditions from around the world, everyone’s favorite snowman from Frozen invites kids of all ages on the new “Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition,” a feestive adventure around World Showcase to round up holiday traditions Olaf misplaces. This sounds super fun and my kids would love it! You can purchase the expedition map at Mouse Gear, Disney Traders or World Traveler at International Gateway, then look for hidden Olafs throughout the World Showcase pavilions. Once you complete the map, guests can receive a gift worth melting for!

We can’t wait to experience all of the holiday offerings available across Walt Disney World Resort beginning November 6, 2020. All 4 parks as well as the Disney Resort hotels will have lots of holiday magic to share!
