No one was insulated from the effects of 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic – not even the happiest place on earth. Thankfully, through consistent safety measures and science, many aspects of society are returning to slightly different yet hopeful norms, including many Disney attractions.

Fantasyworks Travel works closely with our clients to ensure the best travel experience possible. In the current climate, this means making sure our clients are informed and supported throughout the entire process, from planning until their return.

If you are hoping to visit a Disney destination this year, here are 4 things to consider.

1. Is my group well-suited for travel in 2021?

Health and Safety at Disney

Before planning a vacation of any kind in 2021, travelers should consider their personal health and safety. While Disney has done an exceptional job of adhering to health and safety best-practices, if you or someone in your group is at an increased health risk, you may consider delaying your travel until a later date.

You may also consider the ages and abilities of members in your group. Disney’s current mask policy requires all guests ages 2 and up to wear a mask at all times, except while actively eating or drinking and stationary or while taking an outdoor picture and social distanced from others.

If you plan to travel with young children, you may consider helping them adjust to mask-wearing prior to your trip. If these requirements pose an issue, we can help you identify alternate dates or destinations that may be better-suited for your group.

No matter when or where you decide to travel, we are ready to help you bring your dream vacation to life.

2. How do current restrictions affect my desired destinations?

If you have visited Disney parks before, you will notice some changes to the experience. Some examples include changes to Disney character interactions, suspended parades and nighttime shows and social distancing measures in the parks. If you are planning your first trip, schedule a free consultation where we can help you set your expectations to eliminate surprises upon arrival.

3. Where can I find current park updates and information?

Disney regularly provides experience updates here. But often, your question can be best answered by an expert experienced in Disney travel during COVID. Please don’t hesitation to reach out through an email or phone call. We are always here to help!

4. What resources are available to make my trip easier?

There are many things to consider when planning a Disney vacation. Deciding where to stay, what to eat, what to do and how to find transportation can quickly become overwhelming. On top of these decisions, most families are working within a set budget. The stress decisions should never eclipse the magic of a trip to Disney.

That is why we started Fantasyworks Travel. We handle can flights, transportation, room and dining reservations and more so you can focus on what matters – making memories!
