Shopping and packing for any vacation can be stressful, let alone packing for a Disney vacation… from in park essentials, weather essentials, to fun Disney branded items, the odds are that you can definitely save money and get most of these items shipped directly to your home before your vacation! No more toting all the kids around to several different stores looking for each little item. I have been to Disneyworld so many times and over the years, have perfected my list and now I am sharing it with you! The first year we went, I was literally getting an Amazon package on my doorstep every day! I hope this helps you when planning your Disney Packing List.

1. Portable Charger – One of the most important things in today’s world is your cell phone and the amount of use at DisneyWorld will definitely drain that battery! From using My Disney Experience to access maps, itineraries, wait times, and restaurant menus, it is more important than ever to keep that batter charged! A good external battery is a must!

2. Water Bottle with a Filter – You must stay hydrated while at Walt Disney World. You can get free cups of water at all quick service locations and that is great; however, the Florida water just doesn’t taste the best straight from the tap. We recommend a filtered water bottle to help it taste a little bit better, so you aren’t as hesitant to drink it.

3. First Aid/Comfort – It’s always good to be prepared for anything.  A cut or scrape, a blister, chafing, etc. You never know what you are going to need so we keep a small bag with some of these items just in case. You also want to make sure you have tylenol, allergy, and stomach meds just in case. The GoTubbs are great for storing small pills.

4. Weather Preparedness – You never know what you might encounter in a day of Florida weather, from rain and storms to heat and humidity. You want to be prepared! The weather can really take a toll on you if not.

5. Health/Safety – Even before COVID, some of these items were on my list. Millions of people visit Disney every year, Millions of people fly. It’s a good idea to sanitize, wipe things down, etc to help minimize germs. Masks are still required in some situations at Disney, so we usually bring mask lanyards so they can hang around our necks when not in use.

6. Misc Helpful Items – These are just some random items to help. Disney uses paper straws which aren’t the best for those frozen drinks, get some reusable ones! Stroller lights so you can quickly find your stroller in the dark, safety bands for your kids, bitbelts for the kids to help magic bands stay on and even a microfiber towel which is useful after those water rides or a rain shower!

My Amazon Picks

7. Fun Disney Items – Pin Trading is huge at Disney and a great and fun way to entertain kids (or the young at heart!) Purchase starter sets ahead of time to save some money! Glow sticks, glow toys, bubbles, Mickey ears, and a guidebook.

8. A bag to hold everything – I usually take a backpack to hold everything and I have found I really like the North Face Recon. There are lots of pockets to store things and each side has a spot for a water bottle. I also sometimes use a fanny pack and this one has several zippered pockets to keep things separated.

9. Packing Essentials – You will want to save as much space as possible when packing for Disney. We usually take a whole suitcase just of our park bag essentials! We love using packing cubes to help organize. We also use a lot of ziploc bags to separate kids outfits for each day.
